ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Dr. Raley’s research and teaching experience in health communication span over 18 years. Her program of research demonstrates a strong curiosity about business excellence in healthcare settings. Jessica continues to study how communication in clinical environments can be improved and have a positive impact on both patient and organizational outcomes. Observing and participating in these interactions over time enabled Dr. Raley to develop communication assessments, curriculum and training programs for healthcare providers focused on strategic communication.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

In the last 8 years Dr. Raley served as a director in the biomedical industry with a focus on strategic communication and business excellence. She is consistently recruited to strategize about difficult organizational issues including employee/customer satisfaction, turnover, building and hitting lean budget goals, building customer pipelines, reductions in force, strategic planning retreats and improving overall organizational health.
